Venus Keyword Correspondences and Associations
Venus rotates in the opposite direction compared to the other planets so as a result, the Venusian day (243 Earth days) is longer than the Venusian year (225 Earth days). From Venus, the Sun would appear to rise in the west and set in the east. This fact about the Venusian day and year is interesting since Venus is associated with love and “love makes time stand still.” Since love is frequently a creative inspiration, art, creativity and pleasure is connected to Venus. Another branch off of love is that of sex and sensuality. But romantic or sexual love is not the only love associated to Venus, all kinds of love are attributed to Venus; so friendship and as an extension sociability are also related to Venus.
Venus is also linked with money and resources and can have a positive impact on your finances.
The negative associations of Venus include jealousy, and lasciviousness, and other negative aspects associated with attraction, love, and sexuality. Venus has an indulgent, vain, and lazy side, so extravagance can be problematic with this planetary energy.

Planetary Square for Venus
Magical number squares are mathematical objects composed of a square grid with equal sized rows and columns that are filled with as many consecutive natural numbers (starting with 1) that it takes to fill. Each row and column sums to the same number. Frequently, the diagonals do as well.
Venus's square is 7x7 and has the natural numbers 1 through 49 (7²).
The rows, columns, and diagonals all add up to 175 and the entire square sums to 1225.
To fill Venus's square, place the 1 directly below the center then fill in a mostly downward diagonal pattern.
Some observations: Consecutive numbers go in neighboring columns in a downward direction until it meets the bottom, EXCEPT when it's a multiple of 7 (7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42). The numbers directly after each multiple of 7 (8, 15, 22, 29, 36, 43) are in the same column, but then continue filling diagonally in a downward direction until the next multiple of 7.

Orphic Hymn 54: To Venus [Aphrodite]
Heav'nly [Ourania], illustrious, laughter-loving queen, sea-born, night-loving, of an awful mien;
Crafty, from whom necessity [Ananke] first came, producing, nightly, all-connecting dame:
'Tis thine the world with harmony to join, for all things spring from thee, O pow'r divine.
The triple Fates [Moirai] are rul'd by thy decree, and all productions yield alike to thee:
Whate'er the heav'ns, encircling all contain, earth fruit-producing, and the stormy main,
Thy sway confesses, and obeys thy nod, awful attendant of the brumal God [Bakkhos]:
Goddess of marriage, charming to the sight, mother of Loves [Eortes], whom banquetings delight;
Source of persuasion [Peitho], secret, fav'ring queen, illustrious born, apparent and unseen:
Spousal, lupercal, and to men inclin'd, prolific, most-desir'd, life-giving., kind:
Great sceptre-bearer of the Gods, 'tis thine, mortals in necessary bands to join;
And ev'ry tribe of savage monsters dire in magic chains to bind, thro' mad desire.
Come, Cyprus-born, and to my pray'r incline, whether exalted in the heav'ns you shine,
Or pleas'd in Syria's temple to preside, or o'er th' Egyptian plains thy car to guide,
Fashion'd of gold; and near its sacred flood, fertile and fam'd to fix thy blest abode;
Or if rejoicing in the azure shores, near where the sea with foaming billows roars,
The circling choirs of mortals, thy delight, or beauteous nymphs, with eyes cerulean bright,
Pleas'd by the dusty banks renown'd of old, to drive thy rapid, two-yok'd car of gold;
Or if in Cyprus with thy mother fair, where married females praise thee ev'ry year,
And beauteous virgins in the chorus join, Adonis pure to sing and thee divine;
Come, all-attractive to my pray'r inclin'd, for thee, I call, with holy, reverent mind.
