Journaling and Stationery ✧ Themes of 2021
Take a peek at the themes I've done in my journal in 2021!
For my 2021 spreads, I tried to match the background fabric to the theme, and when I couldn't find ones I liked in my home, I edited on some fabric from Joanne's website. I'm not a huge fan of how these look now, but I'm glad I still have an archive of my journal spreads before-the-pen.
I also received a Pusheen calendar that included a set of stickers. I tried to match the themes of each month to each sticker. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't and I lost one of the stickers!

Beginning of the year spreads
This theme matched the turquoise color of the journal cover. I was also super pumped about the flip-out grid guides, but I didn't end up using them througout the year.
January
Purple and gold stars for January.
February
Pink and green florals for a vague Valentine's theme.
March
My favorite colors made the theme for my birthday month.
April
This theme is kind of music, kind of purple, kind of whimsical.
May
Strawberries! Cute and simple.
June
I didn't like this plaid pattern as soon as I set it up, and I still don't like it now lol. Skateboarding Pusheen made me think of plaid!
July
Beach! Perfect theme for a summer month.
August
Another great summer theme is ice cream. I love love love the watercolor popsicles.
September
One of my favorite themes! I want to revisit this sparkly potions/jars theme.
October
Classic Halloween vibes for October.
November
While I loved most of the bookish spreads for this month, I hated the week with flaps!
December
December got a classic Christmas theme.
