I'm Ali! The basics are that I'm in my 30's, I live in California with my partner and our two cats, I use she/her pronouns, and Spanish is my first language.

The things that make me me are journaling, art, crafts, astrology, and witchcraft.

My witchcraft journey began with a budding interest in the occult as a teenage, but I didn't know that it was a path that I could actually follow until I saw a friend reblog witchcraft related posts on tumblr. That led me to start researching and learning as much as I could, and I started practicing at the beginning of 2015. My first spell was a protection spell for my family that is still buried on the property.

Since then, my craft has evolved and expanded and I call myself an eclectic planetary witch. Primarily, my preferred tools are sigils and candles.

Outside of magic, I'm very big on journaling! I started bullet journaling in 2019, and since then it's turned into memory-keeping and regular journaling. I started it at a time in my life where things were really hard, so coming across this organizational system was honestly life-changing.

Besides the organizational benefits that made things feel manageable, it brought back creativity after a decade of hard study. I had spent my time after high school pursuing degrees in mathematics, though I did have to drop out of my PhD program to help at home. That kind of study left little time for self-care and hobbies.

Journaling got me into making themed doodles in my spreads, which lead to making bullet journals for others. I quickly realized the work was taking up too much time, so I pivoted to making planners inspired by bullet journals. At this point, I've made one for each year from 2023 to 2026.

These planners brought art into my life. I've thoroughly enjoyed coming up with sets of illustrations for each month, and it's so cool to see how much my art has changed since 2022. Those planner illustrations turned into stickers!

I have a small stationery store where I sell these stickers and planners called Tablet & Quill Stationery.
